Self-Climbing Formwork Fabricated by Norway Steel Group.
The new Tappan Zee Bridge over the Hudson River is located inside the New York Metropolitan Area. This type of bridge uses stay cables to support the bridge deck from several tall pylons. These pylons are built using custom-designed self-climbing formwork systems. The formwork subcontractor hired Norway Steel Group (NSG) to fabricate the sets of formwork from the plans provided by the subcontractor. This is a great example of how Norway Steel Group is able to provide good quality steel fabrication for demanding projects at very competitive prices.
